51. What are Platform Service Fees?
The Client is responsible for any service fees associated with the platform through which they found and engaged our cleaning services (e.g., Thumbtack, HomeAdvisor, Angie's List). These fees will be included in the final invoice. By signing the agreement, the Client acknowledges and agrees to pay these platform fees.
52. What happens if I am late to provide access for the cleaning service?
Late Arrival: If the Client fails to provide access to the premises within one (1) hour of the agreed-upon start time, the deposit will be forfeited.
Notification and Rescheduling: If there is a delay, the Client must notify the Contractor as soon as possible. The Contractor may adjust the service schedule based on the delay and, at their discretion, reschedule the service. Any additional costs incurred due to rescheduling will be the Client’s responsibility.
Deposit Handling: The forfeited deposit will be kept by the Contractor as compensation for lost time and potential scheduling conflicts.
Exceptions: The Contractor may waive the deposit forfeiture in extenuating circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
53. Will the Contractor take photos of my property?
Answer: The Contractor reserves the right to take before-and-after photos of the premises for quality assurance and internal audits. These photos may also be used for social media or marketing unless the Client requests in writing that no photos be shared publicly.
54. What are the policies for recurring cleanings?
Rescheduling Within 7 Days: If you need to reschedule a recurring cleaning within seven (7) days of the scheduled time, there will be no extra charge. However, you are allowed up to four (4) free reschedules per year. After this, a 25% fee will be applied to the next cleaning.
Skipping a Cleaning: If you skip a scheduled cleaning, a 25% fee will be added to the invoice for your next cleaning.
Extended Gaps Between Cleanings: If there is a gap of more than thirty (30) days between cleanings, a Reset Clean will be required. This service restores the home to a manageable state and is billed at an hourly rate of $75/hour, typically taking 3-4 hours depending on the home's size and condition.
Reason for Reset Clean: The Reset Clean ensures that pricing remains consistent, even after extended gaps between visits, preventing discrepancies.
